Some insights

  • or – introduces change 
  • so – can also indicate a result or consequence will be forthcoming.
  • and – when you wish to link two things together. 
  • But – introduces contrast into a sentence.
  • Nor – brings forth an alternative negative idea. 
  • yet – introduces a contrasting thought.
