Question 1
If 1=3 2=3
3=5 4=4
5=4 Then, 6=?
Sums requires – math, logical and verbal reasoning
Solution
1 = one = the word “one” has three letters
2 = two = three letters
3 = three = five letters
4= four = four letters
5 = five = four letters
6 = six = three letters
Answer is 3.
Question 2

We can try solving using logs
or
We can try substituting integers from -3,-2,-1,0, +1,+2+3…
There are two possible answers:
You can put x = 3
then you will get (27+27+27)/3 = 27
or you can put x =-1
1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 = 3/3 = 1
(-1)4 = 1
Question 3
If 10 chickens lay 10 eggs in 10 days, then how many eggs will 100 chickens lay in 100 days?
Let us assume that each hen lays an egg.
Otherwise we can assume that for the statement 10 chicken lay 10 eggs in 10 days, 1 chicken laid 10 eggs and others didn’t. There are infinite possibilities then.
Now lets get back to the question.
10 chickens lay 10 eggs in 10 days.
so lets keep 10 days as a constant
100 chickens will lay how many eggs?
10 x 10 = 100 eggs.
Why?
There will be 10 groups. In each group there will be 10 chickens. Hence we get 100 eggs
Now 100 chickens will lay 100 eggs in 10 days.
So in 1000 days?
Multiply answer with 10.
Hence 100×10 = 1000 eggs
each set of 10 days 100 eggs are produced.
